I try not to remember death dates, mostly because I wish it had never happened. This is Eyedea, or Mikey if you knew him well. I got to meet him over the last few years of his life and I am happy to say I had the greatest opportunity in the world: the chance to perform as an opener on the same bill. I still remember what I was doing the day he died. His death made an impact on my life. For anyone that doesn’t know, Eyedea was my hero. There won’t be another person like him. RIP buddy.
